On Saturday, March 7th 2015, from 9-11am, we’ll be doing a Garden Day at the 20th & Sanchez steps, working on the steps and the surrounding green areas. This is a joint event by the 20th Street Neighborhood Watch, the DHIC, SF Alliance and SF Department of Public Works.
This will involve improving the steps, and the surrounding green areas – a mix of neighborhood safety and gardening work all combined. Bring your gloves, tools and love of the neighborhood. Who knows, there might even be some coffee and treats!?!
Big thanks to John Morris, Emmy Clausing, Darby Auerbach-Morris, Liz Clark, Bruce Muncil and Dave Olson for making this happen. This is the first of a series, so if you can’t join us on March 7th, don’t worry, there will be other chances on April 4, May 2, June 6.
If you‘re interested in something similar for your block, please contact Bruce Muncil at firstname.lastname@example.org or the DHIC at email@example.com
