This year, Supervisor Jeff Sheehy allocated $250,000 for District 8 discretionary projects and opened the process to residents proposals. DHIC submitted two proposed projects for funding – one to prevent another trashfest in Mission Dolores Park and the other to bring more cultural events to the Park. Supv Sheehys staff is now reviewing all proposed projects re: the program criteria. District 8 residents will have an opportunity to vote on all qualifying projects in the Spring.
