A group of residents and businesses in the neighborhoods around Mission Dolores and Dolores Park is trying to find ways to better maintain and improve our neighborhoods’ shared open spaces and parks. We are asking for your opinion on the conditions and needs of these public spaces, as well as possible solutions. We hope to bring neighbors together to address shared problems and implement solutions that help make our area more vibrant, clean, safe and livable for all.
Please take the 10-minute online survey by October 20 to let us know your priorities.
There will also be a series of community meetings to discuss the survey, its results and the next steps, including the option of creating a Green Benefit District (GBD).
Wednesday, October 10, 6 – 7:30 pm
Thursday, November 15, 6 – 7:30 pm
The meetings will be held at Dolores Park Church, 455 Dolores Street*.
Please take the survey and learn more athttp://www.doloresgbd.org/. There you will find FAQs that describe how we are identifying the outcomes we hope to achieve, the process we are following to find solutions, and the procedures for creating a Green Benefit District, should this be the way we agree to move forward. And please let me know if you if you have questions.
*The postcard you may have received says the meetings will be at 65 Dorland Street. That is the address of the church’s office building. The meetings will be in the church itself.
