Green Garden Day at the Cumberland & Noe steps

The green garden event earlier this month went really well. That makes two great events in a row! So, as promised, we’re doing it again. This month, it is the turn of the steps at Cumberland and Noe streets.

On Saturday, May 2nd 2015, from 9-11am, we’ll be doing a Garden Day at the Cumberland & Noe steps, working on the steps and the surrounding green areas. Like before, this is a joint event by the 20th Street Neighborhood Watch, the Dolores Heights Improvement Club, SF Parks Alliance and SF Department of Public Works.

Like before, this will involve improving the steps, and the surrounding green areas – a mix of neighborhood safety and gardening work all combined. Bring your gloves, tools, sunblock(!) and love of the neighborhood. There’ll be coffee, treats, and the tools that SF Parks Alliance donated to us at the previous two events. If the last events were anything to go by, this should also be a fun morning.

If you have any questions about this event, please contact Bruce, Darby, Dave, Liz and myself at

See you all soon!

ps: If you can’t join us this weekend, don’t worry – we’ll be doing this again on June 6th…
