Now that the holidays are officially behind us, we’re back to our regular cadence of monthly green garden days. This month, it is the turn of both the 2oth/Noe steps and the Cumberland/Noe steps
On Saturday, February 6th 2o16, we’ll first meet at 9 AM at the 20th/Noe Steps for tools, coffee and treats. You can then choose which set of steps you wish to work on. As always, this is a joint event by:
- The 20th Street Neighborhood Watch
- The Dolores Heights Improvement Club
- SF Alliance
- SF Department of Public Works
As before, this will involve improving the steps, and the surrounding green areas, a mix of neighborhood safety and gardening work all combined. Bring your gloves, tools, sunblock(even if the temperature is cold!) and your love of the neighborhood.
There’ll be coffee and treats provided by DHIC, tools provided by SF Parks Alliance & DPW, and lots of friendly faces. As with previous events, this should also be a fun morning.
If you have any questions about this event, please contact Darby, Dave, Liz and me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
See you all soon!
Bruce Muncil, Co-Chair DHIC Garden and Safety
Darby Auerbach-Morris, Co-Chair DHIC Garden and Safety
PS: If you can’t join us this weekend, don’t worry – we’ll be doing this again on Saturday March 5th at Sanchez/Cumberland stairs and green space.
