With a new focus and a new date, join us for DHIC’s “Safer Together” Gathering on Saturday, June 3 at 11 am. Please save this date!
This year, our focus is on Safety: what we can do to help ourselves and our neighbors feel safer. We’ll introduce our block groups and hold breakouts by group – so that you can meet your neighbors, talk with each other about your key safety concerns, and share tips on how to make our homes and blocks safer. We will also have safety handouts.
Please join the DHIC’s Green Garden Group on Saturday, April 1 from 9-11 am for an invigorating morning of gardening and clean-up. These companionable work parties always happen on the morning of the first Saturday of the month unless otherwise posted. Inclement weather cancels.
We provide all the tools needed, including Spike’s Coffee & Tea and homemade treats!

Spring is here. Covid is abating. Come out to meet your neighbors on Saturday, May 7 at 11am. DHIC is hosting our Spring get-together at the top of the Sanchez Stairs, above 19th Street.
We’ll also have (very light) refreshments – coffee, water, and cookies.
Come earlier to help with our Green Garden Sanchez Stairs clean-up (see below for details.) Or just show up at 11am for the gathering. We look forward to seeing you!!
